To me, the 'Morning Glory Fountain' symbolizes rebirth. Each morning the Morning Glory flower blooms in harmony with the rays of the rising sun to reveal a star which represents the eternal light of our children's spirit. - Karen
When you drive by the Patterson Funeral Home in Niagara Falls, Ontario, you can’t help but notice the beautiful landscaping with beautiful perennials, trees and flowers integrated into property.
The centerpiece of the landscaping, however, is an eight foot tall water fountain designed and crafted by Karen Felesko, a local artist with a passion for metal sculpting.
The Morning Glory Fountain is an artistic mosaic of 1600 pounds of stainless steel, copper and brass, dedicated to the families we have served who have lost a child.
The Niagara Region, in an effort to promote local artists, graciously contributed to the cost for any community improvement area willing to get involved with this initiative.
The Patterson Funeral Home is proud to be the first business in the Niagara Region to get involved and we offer our thanks to both the Region for their support and to Karen, whose vision made it happen.
